Beta #1....

I had my first hcg beta taken yesterday at 10dp5dt, and it was really strong at 248! However....my progesterone was pretty low at only 6.6, so they are increasing my Crinone from 1x/day to 2x/day and I will go back tomorrow to check both levels again. Of course now I'm super nervous that the low progesterone means impending doom, but trying to stay positive with a good beta.

Anyone have experience with low progesterone in the past? I had low progesterone with my m/c, but had an IUI and was not given any supplements because we knew something wasn't right with the pregnancy (my beta on the same day (15dpIUI) was only 99 at that time which they considered low, and wasn't doubling appropriately).

Clomid 50 mg + IUI#1  = BFP, m/c and D&C at 7w1d

Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN

Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN

Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14

    Congratulations on the great beta! I have no idea about progesterone- I never did any betas with DD, but I would like think that because it's still really early and you are going to double up on your supplement, everything will catch up and be just fine!

    YAY! Congrats on the beta.  I also don't know much about the progesterone except that they want it higher.  I think with supplements and rest you will be fine!

    Ahhhhhhh OMG. Congrats!!! Great beta!!!!! Will be saying doubling beta and hope your prog increases!!!! Can't wait to hear a great beta #2!!!

    Met with RE October 2013, we've got a plan!
    Surprise BFP on "break cycle" 10/12/13. EDD 6/17/14.
    MMC discovered 11/25/13 at 10 weeks. D&C 11/27/13.
    BFP 2/8/14 Beta#1: 176, Prog 18! Beta#2:335, Prog, 19.5!

    Congrats! I just teared up! My progesterone was low with DD and the supplements they gave me brought them up quickly. I had to take them the first trimester. I can't wait to hear an update!

    Congratulations!  I have no idea about numbers but it sounds like it's a pretty positive result!  Good luck to you.
