Being induced at 4:45am Wednesday morning. FTM. Very nervous. Not sure what they are going to do. Wish me luck.

Good Luck my induction day is scheduled for Saturday morning. I just asked my Dr today and she said that they always start out with cervadil unless you are having a lot of contractions or they can break your water. She said the cervadil is a much nicer way to induce so FX that we can both start with this method!

Definitely call and ask what exactly they're doing.

I was induced with DD and had cervadil put in around 9 pm. Contractions started right away and my water broke within an hour. It wasn't so bad

I'm being induced this week, too. I'm sure everyone's different, but my MD plans to admit me thurs night and do cervadil. Then Fri am I will get enema (irritates uterus and makes less self conscience per MD.) I will be NPO for 2 hours and then they will start pitocin. She said she also plans to break my water Friday am as well. Hope it all goes as plans! Good luck!!!
