A Trader Joes just opened in my city last week and I think LO and I will venture out to see it. I've never been to a TJs, but it seems to be brought up a lot on here, so help me out here ladies. What are some of your favorite products that I should look for?

Obviously cookie butter is already on my list

We got the BEST grapes there a few weeks ago.

Vanilla meringue cookies... Omg

For frozen foods..
Shells with Brie and asparagus

Cilantro salad dressing, cilantro & jalapeño hummus, chili sauce, coconut ice flows, cookie butter, kettle corn, Gorgonzola crackers, seasoned pork roast, frozen French onion soup, crab cakes, chicken fried rice, and Sara Bee moscato. I love TJ's

Oh man, TJ's is seriously the best!
Mediterranean hummus, pizza dough, carnitas (refrigerated section) - just heat in the micro and great with their corn tortillas & verde salsa - get that too!
Peanut butter crackers, any of their box baking mixes are good - like the coffee crumb cake, I could go on and on... :-)

Any and all wine!

They also have some amazing cheeses. I especially love their cracked peppercorn Parmesan.

Love TJ's!! All good recommendations from PP's. Minor word of warning though, their bread is great and preservative free I'm sure, but it goes bad quickly, like 3-4 days sometimes just as a heads up so keep it refrigerated to help it last the week.

OH if they have their lemon ginger cookie ice cream get it!!! Mmmmm

Everything. But I highly recommend stocking up on pumpkin stuff for the year so when it's gone in November, you can enjoy the deliciousness until it's seasonal again. Especially the pumpkin pancake mix! Yum!

They have the best hummus. Also I love their fresh mozzarella, granolas, and most recently I've discovered their fruit and cream yogurts. They are amazing and seriously taste like mousse!

This is not fair! The closest one is an hour away. I'm thinking it might be worth it to travel the distance just to grocery shop. I'm a huge foodie, if that helps justify it?

I feel ya. The closest one to us is 3 hours away. Luckily, DH goes that way 3 times a year for football games, so I can get my fill.

DH just went there 2 days ago, and this list is pretty much what's in our kitchen. We love TJ's!

Hubby will be heading to Detroit when he leaves this Sunday for training (I'll be dropping him off) I'm thinking that would be a great time to stop by one

I second the wine comment! We buy Charles Shaw by the case- 6 white and 6 red.... Also, the Noveau wine is coming out soon! Yippee!!

It looks like you have a good start on your TJ's list.

I love TJ's and we shop there on a weekly basis. I find their produce and staples (like egges, yogurt) pretty reasonable and better quality than our chain supermarket.

I would add their Greek Feta Dressing to the list as well as their chicken or vegetable pot stickers (found in the frozen aisle).

I'm not nuts about trader joes, in Santa Fe it's overpriced and full of stuck up yuppies (for the most part) sometimes they have good fruit but id rather go to sprouts.

You don't happen to live in WNY, do you? I know that one just opened up there and I'm very excited to go again. When I lived in Pittsburgh, I loved to get their multigrain baking mix (like Bisquick), their crunchy cheese puffs, curry sauce, quinoa and soups.

@ktbear9512 I live in WNY too and am very excited to go. I'm sure that it will be swamped for quite a long time, but I'm hoping if I can manage a trip during the day, it'll be a little less crazy.

The Trader Joes by our house is the cheapest place for gallon milk, eggs, and carton OJ. We love their frozen peas and veggie foursome. Cherry tomatoes are great there and I'll ditto the yogurts, cheeses, and crackers.

Spices are very reasonably priced and you can buy real maple syrup in large quantities. Fresh meat is good quality but expensive relative to other options.

There is no wine in Maryland TJs I feel I'm missing out :-(

@ktbear9512 it's another natural foods store, they have awesome produce as @LJUTCMommy said and its super cheap. Ill go buy all my produce for the week for like 20 bucks. I don't like how TJ bundles a lot of the produce and it gets wasted with just 2 people, it is the place to go for frozen food but I will only eat frozen pizza or lasagne cuz I'm super picky
