I'm kind of in love with the show Dexter, and I'm mourning that the series has ended. And I just found a crap ton of Dexter gifs. So I will be using them when I deem appropriate.

    @wedilea the Dexter I'm talking about is the one on Showtime - he's the serial killer who kills serial killers. Not the cartoon lol.

    And calling your kid sexy Dexy is so bizarre... Reminds me of a post on the Birthday board where a girl has a son named Greyson and she wanted to have his 1st bday theme be "50 Shades of Grey." :-/

    @andrea99 DH asked if I would change a kid's name if he died while I was pregnant. I told him if it was a boy I would kind of name the kid after him (a combination of his first and middle name,) which he thought was really sweet. Then I told him the middle name would be Dexter, and he wasn't a fan of that lol. I never understood celebrity crushes until seeing Dexter. I think Michael C. Hall is fiiiiiiiiiiiine. Oh man. DH "hates" it because he was the one who introduced me to the show.

    I loved Dexter and am so sad it is over. I asked DH Iif he liked the name for our DS and he nixed it. Michael C Hall actually looks just like my BIL and cute, but not my type. My celebrity crush is Charlie Hunnam and am devastated (like almost in tears) that he won't be Christen Grey.

    He is.....and he is an actor too. You can make him pretend he is Dexter.

    @twister22 my cousin lives in Hollywood and her roommate is dating Michael C Hall. I saw a picture of him in their apt playing with the cat. Apparently he likes cats.

    @CurlyQ284 WTF. This is not true. I'm kind of freaking out over here. Although, I am so not a cat person. I guess I'll stick with @LavenderP 's BIL.

    @gin9874 I was mad at first but now I've rationalized it and added to it so I'm happy with it. haha

    I knew which one you were talking about - I meant since it's a "hip" show, even if he is a serial killer, he'll have a better connotation than nerd with glasses, which is what I thought of Dexter long before even the cartoon.  And yes, her child is 1 and they call him Sexy Dexy.  Her other kids are Devlynn (named after a character on Spiro?), Davis (for Terrell Davis), and Drew (I don't know if they were just grasping at D names at this point or not.

    We haven't watched the show, because DH controls the remote at night, and if it isn't Rednecks, Ax Men, or Ghost related, we don't watch it.
    Ahhh I see. I like the name Dexter, but until the show I did kind of have a nerd connotation with it.

    I don't understand some people. I can't imagine referring to my children as "sexy." Just. Yuck.

    And lol at the bold. But seriously, you're missing out. That show is awesome. I've convinced DH to watch it again, and he's agreed to the first 4 seasons again and then we'll "reevaluate." Ha. We'll watch the whole thing again ;).
