  38w 3d with mo-di girls. I really can't believe I am still pregnant. They tried to induce starting last Thursday. After 3 days they could not get my cervix to open so they sent me home. I'm back today in L & D to try again. This time I am not leaving until I have babies! If they can't get me dilated by tomorrow we'll do a C section.

  Update:

  25w4d!

  Not much new to report - all seems to be going well, and OB appt tomorrow. I have another UTI, at least this time I knew what it was right away since I was getting Braxton Hicks and had the lower abdomen pain, so my doc called in a prescription and I am feeling better. 

  My tail bone and sciatic nerve are killing me. I am hobbling around like an old lady. Glad the doctor approved my disability placard so I don't have to walk too far to get to my car!

  We live in a 2 bedroom condo and never had any intention of totally dismantling the spare room to turn it into a nursery for 1 baby. We thought we could sneak in a small crib and be set. With surprise #2 on the way, it is being a bit more dismantled - we are getting rid of the fold out couch and coffee table in there to make room for two cribs, a lounge chair, a change table and dresser, but everything else is staying, including the book shelves and entertainment center. I am decorating their "spaces" in green, blue and purple in an elephant theme The spare room is filled with mh's stuff - his xbox, large screen tv, tons of cool star wars collectibles and legos, transformers, real working light sabers, ninja turtle toys...if these kids were born 6 year old boys, it would be the PERFECT dream come true room :P

  Josie was 5lbs2oz, Lexie was 4lbs15oz 

  Both had a 9 APGAR score with no NICU time

  Planned unscheduled C-Section due to both being breech

  We all went home on Jan 6th, 2 days after surgery

  Hi!  31w3d with di/di boys.  Last Wednesday we had an OB appt. and found out that now both boys are breech.  Great, so now I don't have just 1 kicking my bladder, I have 2!   Actually, as frustrating as that is, I don't mind.  It lets me know they're ok.  I do wish they were a bit different because unless they are punching I have a hard time telling which one is kicking.  Before it was easy to tell when 1 was up and the other down.  Getting excited to meet these little guys.  We have a C-section scheduled for November 27 as long as they don't decide to come early on their own.  I'll be just under 38 weeks at that point.  One nice thing about that date, it was my mom's birthday.  She passed away 5 years ago, just 6 months shy of our wedding.  She prayed that my DH and I would have a baby, so if they could share that birthday with grandma it would be doubly special as I know she'd have loved to hold them and help care for them.  Of course, if they don't share a birthday they'll still hear all of the stories about grandma anyway! 

  Still suffering mid-back spasms, now have "carpal tunnel" symptoms.  I can't tighten my left hand hardly at all.  Hopefully that too will go away once they are born.  Here's hoping anyway! 

  GTKY: We don't have a nursery set up as we are hoping to move, but we will need to set something up for the short term.  Otherwise, it'll be pretty low-key.  They may have some "Finding Nemo" things as we've nicknamed them Nemo and Squirt until they come out.

  19 weeks with modi girls. Still very nauseous everyday. First appointment with our MFM center tomorrow. Can't wait to see our girls. Hopefully getting some 3D pictures tomorrow. OH, OH! I almost forgot! I feel them MOVE! It's SO weird! I don't feel like I'll ever get used to this. They already have very different personalities. One is already a complete Daddy's girl. It's so exciting.
  
  
  While I don't have a nursery theme yet we do have a shower theme. Song birds with hearts and stars. And two girls playing patty-cake because sometimes in their u/s it looks like they're reaching toward each other.

  I have a MFM and ob/gyn appt this week. Then we go on our mini baby moon this Friday. Woo hoo! We are going to a resort and all I plan to do is lounge by the pool. I can't wait. DH has been busy with the nursery and is almost done painting it. Eek! We are doing a classic Pooh theme because we are both Disney fans.

  TTC since May 2010. DX Unexplained IF. IUI #1 in August 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #2 in September 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #3 in October 2012. BFN. IVF in April/May 2013. BFP with b/g twins! Due February 2, 2014. Thank you God!

  28w3d here. Doing well but my hormones were a bit out of whack this weekend (i.e. lots of tears). I think I am just a big stress ball from trying to get everything ready for the babies and getting things in place at work for my maternity leave. The belly kicking has also gotten harder, which has been distracting, and my entire body is just plain sore most of the time. 

  
  

  GTKY:

  The nursery is finally starting to come together. We have painted the walls a light green and we are planning on decorating it in a green, pink and blue elephant theme. We bought a white dresser that will also serve as the changing table and picked up a small love seat and ottoman for feedings/snuggle/story times. DH still needs to put together the cribs and I still need to hang the framed decals. The nursery is quickly becoming my favorite room in the house!

  BFP #1 on 12/15/11 but missed m/c with d&c on 2/1/12.

  BFP #2 on 5/1/13 = boy/girl TWINS with EDD of 1/3/14 but expected no later than 12/20/13.

  It's my final MoM to be check in! C-section is this Friday when I'm a day shy of 38 weeks. I had my last OB appointment last Friday and last NST this morning. Everything looks good. I have been cooking like crazy yesterday and today to get some freezer meals prepared. MIL is coming next Tuesday and then my mom and aunt after that. H will be home to help for 3 weeks. I'm excited to me them and very nervous about taking care of them.
  
  QOTW: our nursery colors are yellow and gray with turquoise accents. There are lots of elephants.

  Haven't checked in in a while but my b/g twins that were due Dec. 18 made their arrival on 10/13/13 via c-section. I went into preterm labor on 10/7/13 and lasted in the hospital until early morning 10/13/13. At 30w4d, my boy was 3lb13oz and my girl was 3lb3oz. They both so far are doing well in the nicu. Just such a crazy week I've had. I love them to pieces. Good luck to the rest of you mommas!

  Hi! i haven't posted before...but glad I checked in.

  10 weeks tomorrow (tuesday) with di/di twins. I'm dealing with some nausea, mostly in the afternoon/lunch time. So far I haven't gained any weight and I"m trying really hard to keep it at bay (it got out of control a bit with DD). ILs come to town on wednesday for 2 weeks and we'll get to tell them in person. They're a bit difficult for me to deal with for that long and with this news I know it's going to be a long visit. 

  
  

  In all honesty...I'm still having a hard time with the news. I feel like I haven't connected in any way to the them...and sometimes find myself wishing this wasn't what was happening and those feelings are so so hard for me to deal with. I thankfully have an amazing therapist who is helping me with these emotions...but I worry I wont be connected until their born. I want to be excited and happy....but I had such a rough time during DD's first year (she had health problems, nursing problems, choked on her vomit and stopped breathing at 3 months old - something I still have a hard time dealing with ) that I'm so worried I wont be able to manage it this time with twins. So I'm still freaking out and it's hard to feel this way. 

  
  

  GTKY: I am thinking gray and light yellow...I wanted that for DD, but DH vetoed it....he seems more willing to give me what I want. We'll be getting the jenny lind cribs since they have a smaller footprint than the behemoth DD's crib is...and she's still in it. I'm hoping we can put board and batten up in the room (and hoping to do it while ILs are in town) and then light gray on top.   I'm 26w6d with di/di boys. Next appointment is October 28th. Everything is going well they are moving and kicking a ton.  I've been getting some mid back pain while I'm at work but I found that using a belly support helps so much. I still have a previa which has not moved an inch the last 3 ultrasounds but there is still time right?!?

  
  

  Our nursery is aqua, grey, and white.  So three of the walls are aqua and then the last wall is an accent wall with grey and white chevron to match the bedding.  We went with a little bit of a nautical theme in the nursery.  We have an extra bedroom that we painted the exact same way but this will be more of a play room where we will keep toys and stuff.  This room has pictures of jungle animals on the wall.

  30w2d today! Another milestone! I'm doing OK. Walking around causes lots of pressure down below and I don't like the way that feels so I stay off my feet as much as possible (which I'm supposed to do since I'm on MBR). Next OB appt. is next Wednesday and then I get to see the girls again on Halloween. Hoping at that appt. MFM will give me the OK to schedule my RCS for 37 weeks. I'm hoping for Dec. 2.

  QOTW: The girls nursery is grey, white and pink. My moms best friend is making grey chevron crib rail covers with a pink ruffle that are embroidered with their names. I'm super excited about them and can't wait to see them. I also obsessed with their grey and white cheetah print sheets from Pottery Barn Kids. I also ordered two burlap buntings with their names on it that will go over their cribs.

  25 weeks mo/di girls due 1/28/14 but will have them at 36 wks (end of December). All is looking great so far!

  23w6d today - so one more day until V-day!    No appts this week either - my next MFM and OB appts are next week.   I'm feeling good though - I had some insomnia last night which sucks.
  
  QOTW:  The nursery is going to be a 'woodland' theme - owls, squirrels, trees, etc..   So far the room is painted, we put in a new ceiling fan and yesterday put up some cube storage. The cribs are set to arrive today so they should be up this weekend.  And we need to make trip to Ikea for the dresser I want.  After that - I will really feel like we are going to be having twins.

  Almost 30 weeks and still going strong. So far no contractions or any real issues. Besides being big and having more and more trouble handling my almost 2yo I feel great. I started weekly OB apt this week and bi weekly with perinatologist next week.
  
  QOTW: we have an ocean theme. Adele's stuff is mostly purple with mermaids and Cason's stuff is mostly turquoise and green with seahorses and octopus.

  24 weeks today with mo/di boys!  i am breathing a TINY bit easier today after my MFM appt and growth/fluid scan, but still nervous!  they are both measuring 1 lb 6 oz with a 2 % difference in grams.  been having weird cramping last night and today and forgot to mention it.  it's only on my right side so i'm thinking it is just RLP or positioning of baby b.  

  
  

  my MFM made me feel better today with all my googling crazy things and said "it's the exception, not the rule, that mo/di twins don't do well, you are doing great today, let's concentrate on that".  made me a little more centered.  

  
  

  QOTW;  the nursery will be grey with a blue stripe (hubby talked me into Giants colors, even though they are sucking this season), and i am going to through some elephants in there somewhere even though he doesn't like it. lol.  we are hoping to have it painted by the first weekend in november.  

  Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 

  Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  

  Clomid + Trigger x2;

  IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life.

  23 weeks with di/di boys, nothing really new - have an apt with my OB this Friday & this weekend is out baby shower so I am pretty excited about that it is Halloween/Fall themed So fun! Movement is so strong these days its waking me up a lot at night. They apparently don't like when I sleep on my right side at all!

  GTKY: We moved DS to the smaller room and are making his old room the nursery. We don't really have a theme just going with colors. We have white furniture & decorating with blues, yellows, & Grays. Something we don't have to change as they get older.

  Wow! What a night, I've been no stranger to the l&d facility w this preg and have had my fair share of contractions but last night the got bad and 'regular' again at 5 min apart (always happens when I'm sleeping and it wakes me up....do weird) but anyways they upped my dose of procardia and the doc wants to give steroids this week. We're 30 weeks this week so hopefully these girls hang in there a little longer . US scheduled for mid next week, I'm looking forward to seeing these lo's again.
  GTKY: our nursery is also light pink and gray. Very classic (at least that's the hope).

  Hi! 19w3d here. This weekend I started to feel a lot more pressure, aches, and pains in my hips and abdominal area, but nothing overly concerning yet. We have our a/s tomorrow with the MFM, so I'm pretty excited about that.
  
  GTKY: We painted the walls mint green and will have dark brown furniture. We have one crib now from DS and will get another one sometime after the babies are born. The theme is safari animals and I have some great canvas pictures my SIL painted that match our bedding.

  21w5d today with our twin girls Brynlee and Brooklyn! Feeling pretty good! Just got back from Las Vegas yesterday from a convention. I did a lot better than I thought I would. Maybe getting away was something I needed! Nothing much has changed besides more movement...but ofcorse I love that plus the reassurance that they are doing well!!
  
  QOTW: we have a 3 bedroom house and our DD and DS already take up our other rooms so the girls will be in our master bedroom. We've already cleared out their portion of the room and we're doing all their decor in Lavender and grey. Just something simple

  ~waves~  12w6d here   Goodbye first trimester!  My OB finally seemed positive and happy to hear the heartbeats instead of shocked after the ER visit.  That only took two weeks   I have our apartment complex changing the air filters because I feel sick most of the time I'm home.. think there is something in the air that I'm sensitive too?  Dunno, just hating not wanting to be 'home'.  Past the general ill feeling from being in here, the nausea is lightening up.  I added a magnesium supplement to my prenatals and switched to a gummy prenatal from VitaFusion because my stomach wasn't dealing well with the hard pills.  Yay not staring at my prenatals in fear   Honestly, slowly feeling better, so that is awesome.
  
  These twins won't really have a nursery.  We live in a three bedroom apartment but have a roommate to help pay the rent because of how expensive the area is where my husband works.  Ultimately, the "theme" will be in their blankets, which I am cross-stitching.  They are two styles of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and adorable.

  Hi, I would like to join this check in.  I am 12 weeks pregnant with mono-di twins.  My next ultrasound isn't until November 14th!  It seems so far away, but I am going to be away in Miami so we couldn't do it much sooner.  

  
  

  I am still in shock often that I am having twins, but slowly getting more excited.  We are in a townhome and the twins room is very small, but we will have to make it work!  I know it is early but I lined up daycare for the twins for next September so that is one less thing to worry about!

  My boys arrived just over two weeks ago at 33w2d on sept 29. Baby a came home after 9 days in the nicu. Baby b comes home tomorrow!!! We can't wait to have them together.
