Having a baby next week! (probably)

Hey ladies, went to the OB today. Have been on bedrest for the past 4+ weeks due to BP and pre-e signs. BP today was 152/102...yuck. So got to get hooked up, monitored and LO looks good! So, OB says he wants to keep a close eye on me and wants me to come in Monday to discuss delivery next week. I will be 37 weeks Thurs and Mon is the first day he is back in the office after I hit term, so he will assess me then and depending how LO is holding up we will either schedule a C-section (if he thinks LO can't handle the stress of labor) or schedule induction for next week.

I am so happy that I have been able to get this LO to term, considering the PTL and Pre-e issues. I think way back to week 30 when the problems started and think how grateful I am that 7 weeks later I still have an inside baby. I'm a little disappointed that I won't get the experience of spontaneous labor, but having this LO come out healthy is the goal!

Just wanted to say thanks ladies, for all the well wishes you all have sent me over the past few weeks and for non-stop entertainment while I've been on bed rest!

Good luck! And here's to 37 weeks! Glad you've been able to manage up to now. I'm being induced at 37 weeks tomorrow due to choleostasis and it's been a whirlwind of emotions. I'll be sending you good juju!
