LOL Balls. (i teach middle school! my maturity level plummets by 230)
DD loves her doll Stella, loves to feed her (and us, and the dog, and the cat...) and push her around in her stroller. which frequently has to be taken away cuz she uses it as a ramming device on the dog. thank god my dog is awesome.
She also loves books, it's scary to see her in her room by herself just "reading" too soon! She likes her Melissa and Doug puzzles too! Oh and anything that makes music is usually a big hit!
Blocks and ANYTHING she can make into a telephone, from toy phones to pillows and (my favorite) Cheerios. Yes, this child will hold a Cheerio up to her ear and say "hello" (makes me think she's got some super secret spy telephone!)
Trucks and anything that makes music. He loves to dance. I was thinking about getting him the "big" piano from fao schwarz for Christmas. I think he would have fun dancing on it and making music. Anyone have one or used one before?
DD loves balls, pop-up castle, books, and drum sticks to "bang". She's also into dumping things out. She finally figured out how to turn her tub full of toys upside down so that all her toys spill on the floor. Once the toys are on the floor she is not interested in them.
Things that play music, telephones, mega blocks, things that aren't toys, and her new favorite that turned out to be a great consignment sale find and hit, is her MagnaDoodle. Didn't even know these were still around, but she loves it, and I like that she can draw without making a mess.
She loves balls, tractors, and cars. She has a pig with wheels that she loves to ride on and a ride on tractor. She LOVES books. She plays with a stroller and doll at my moms so that is on her Christmas list.

Lo loves toys that are not cuddly, eg Fisher price little people and rubber duckies. We have a million stuffed toys and he is so so about those...but his #1 favorite is popsicle sticks, he loves to take them and I find them all over, on the bed, on the changing table, in the hallway. Add you can guess we eat a lot of ice cream bars. I have taken to washing the sticks and just letting him play with them because he demands them if he sees us eating ice cream
DD has recently been super into dolls. She has a carters cloth doll that we named Dolly (original, I know!) when she was just a few months old that she screams out for. It is adorable. Then she has a cabbage patch baby that she calls BABY and she wants them both with her at all times. Also, anything Minnie mouse (who she calls Mo-Mo) especially her stuffed Minnie. Blocks are another big hit right now.
Then shoes. He has started trying to walk around in DHs shoes and then getting pissed when he can't. Usually his first words when he wakes up are socks and shoes!
Too funny! DD has also started trying to walk around in our shoes and gets super upset if I take her shoes off.
