Moving up rooms at daycare

Today I picked up DD and she was in the 1 year olds room. They said they decided to try her out up there today. She napped on a cot and got to go outside and play. DD1 was outside same time and they were kissing through the fence. I was so emotional as they were telling me this. It just made it all so real that she is about to be 1!

Re: Moving up rooms at daycare

  • E moved up October 1, it just made more sense bc the other babies in the infant room were all 6 months and under and his "pals" had already moved up.

  • Wesley tries to sneak into the toddler room, but he can't move over yet until he can walk well.  Still just cruising. There are still 2 other babies that are his age in the infant room with him that he is friends with so I think they will all move together when they are all ready, as they are all 4 months younger than the youngest in the toddler room.

We are in transition. She has to work more on self-feeding.
This is where we are.  In the Pooh room (that's what they call it -- by the way, if you're not seeing that spelled out, it just seems like he's moving to the room full of fecal matter), they use sippy cups and not bottles and eat with their fingers.  Henry is still working on these things, so they are transitioning him slowly.  I'll be excited when he moves since it means I won't have to make him snacks for daycare in the morning, which is something I apparently suck at.
