Did you know about October 15th?

I found out recently that October is not only breast cancer awareness month, but also Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness month. I know that, sadly, this is something that has effected many of the women on this board, myself included. Tomorrow, October 15th, is remembrance day. (The link below is for a website that talks about October 15th and has a link to another page with more info) Tomorrow at 7pm we'll be lighting a candle at our house to be a part of the wave of light.

I'll light a candle in honor of our miscarriage. Last year, I changed my Facebook picture to the blue & pink awareness ribbon. It's a subject that is rarely made public, so anything to bring it out in the open is a good idea. I had no idea how common miscarriage was until we experienced it.

My heart goes out to all the families that have dealt or are dealing with the loss of a pregnancy or child.

I will be lighting 3 candles for my triplets that fought so hard after birth but sadly did not survive.

I started lighting a candle after my co-worker miscarried. I now light a candle for Aidan, my sister's two miscarriages and then a candle for all of my friends

A friend shared this on FB earlier, and I thought it was too beautiful of a sentiment not to pass along:
