I posted the other day with asking for help on how to balance working, not sleeping, and a sick one year old baby. We found out today that she is a candidate for tubes..
So besides dealing with nonstop illness and making this decision, I am wondering if DC is putting her down too late for a nap. Napping there has been an issue for her so they are putting her down for one nap around 1/130 and that lasts for 30 minutes. I did the one nap over the weekend, but earlier.. and she napped for two. I think she is overtired there, right?
I told them and my dh (does drop off) today that she may need to go down earlier, especially because this lack of sleep does not help her to get healthy. Plus, I'm dealing with bloody screaming when I pick her up. I feel really defeated today, especially because this kid has been nonstop sick...and I cant be home with her to get her on a schedule and healthy.
Re: Update and vent
Tubes are needed.. Was in my bed again last night bc of all the congestion.
Tell her that she needs to go down between 11 and 12 at the latest. It will help a lot.
Can't comment on the tubes, but hopefully they will help!! Hang in there. Sickness and sleep deprivation are so tough.
