  • I feel like time has almost completely stopped.

The nursery is done, and my hospital bag is packed. I'm seriously just passing time until he gets here. Patience is a virture, but it's not really coming in handy these days.

(not to mention I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable and I'm not sleeping well. If I'm not going to sleep - I might as well have him here right?!?!?!)

I totally agree I can hardly sleep atall, I've just finished packing our hospital bags now it's just a waiting game.. Bet i go overdue lol
  • This entire pregnancy has crawled by!  I feel like I've been pregnant for about a year and a half!

Everyone keeps telling me that I'm due "so soon" - but it still feels like forever away in my mind.

I guess learning patience is not a bad thing...right? :)
  • I hear you. I haven't been sleeping well, so it's making the days even longer! I'm working right up until my due date - and my commute every day (train ride + 1.5 mile walk both ways, 3 miles a day, if nobody picks me up/drops me off at the train) is becoming really tiring. I do pretty well in the morning, but by the end of the work day I'm wiped. I've never been a bath person before but now I'm starting to go home and soak in the tub every night because of my sore legs!

  • @wedding06 - I think I'm just used to it. I've been working in Chicago for over 4 years now, so walking is a big part of daily life. I used to go home and run 3 miles after work a few days a week too - looking back, I have no idea how I did that!!! I definitely move slower than I used to, I find myself leaving 3-4 minutes early every day to make sure I catch my normal train home and be able to breathe when I get there.

I keep telling myself working up until I deliver is worth it because I will get as much time home with my son as possible.

  • Sometimes I feel like it's been forever, but when I think about all the things I still want to do I tell him to hang in there!     I kind of wish sometimes that I could just sit down and watch a marathon of Gossip Girl on Netflix like I did when I was pregnant with DD.   Alas, alak, there is no time for that anymore.

  • 35 week tomorrow, and I'm in the same boat. Except, I haven't packed my hospital bag or built one thing. I have 5 more work days, so I'm just looking forward to being out on maternity leave and being rested enough to start nesting.

I don't know how you walk that much every day. Walking from my desk to the bathroom gives me contractions and lightening crotch. I think I would die!
This. 1.5 miles each way (I'm assuming with a bag) is crazy! Good for you, girl. I have to walk from the train to work -- it used to take me 7-8 minutes pre-pregnancy, now it takes me closer to 15, and I feel like I'm going to pee myself by the time I get in the door.

Yeah, I always have my purse, which is medium sized. I bring my lunch to work often too, but I've been ditching that lately just so I don't have to carry the extra bag. At the very minimum, if my husband is still home to take me to the train in the morning and pick me up in the evening, is about 2 miles a day. That mile to and from the train though is guaranteed daily. I pee before I leave the house, when I get to the train station and AGAIN when I get to work. It's ridiculous! I completely feel you on that.

What really irritates me is when you feel like you have to go SO bad, then when you go, it's like tinkle, tinkle, done. Really?

  • UGH i feel the same! I feel as though time is going by like molasses!! Plus I have GD so that makes time crawl by even more slow than normal. I love knowing that LO is doing great , but all the extra drs appointments are wearing me out!!! I have 2, sometimes 3 appts weekly and its a lot!!!  Don't get me wrong, I want LO to bake as long as he needs to, but I will be so happy when its go time!

  • My DH says to me allllll the time that I've been pregnant for a year and he is starting to feel pregnant himself! Lol
He said the next time I'm pregnant he doesn't want to know until I'm about 6months so he only has to wait 3 months.

He says he just wants to meet our little fella already!! Which I feel 100% the same! :x these last few weeks are definitely a drag but as long as LO is healthy, I'm okay :)
