First day of day care

Tomorrow is LO's first day of day care. I have mixed emotions.

Thankfully this week is the trial run before I go back to work next week, so I won't be breaking down in the middle of a lesson and my students wondering what the hell is wrong with her! ;)

I made appointments for this week that I would've needed child care for anyways, and our apartment is getting worked on this week, so it's good timing, but I think I'm just going to be checking the clock to see what time I can go pick him and have him in my arms again!

From those who have been through the first day of day care, any advice on how to emotionally get through it after being with LO for 7 weeks? I'm so going to miss cuddling with him!!

    Honestly I cried the whole first week but, it does get better. Once that I saw LO was dealing with it fine, it made me feel better.

    My advice is just stay strong, LO will be just fine!

    The first week is the hardest, and every day was better than the last. I found that I just had to keep myself busy.

    It will get easier though! Good luck!
