WWY serve?

I moved LO's baptism from 12:30, to 3pm instead on Saturday to help DHs family who is traveling. When it was at 12:30, I was going to serve lunch and cake after. It's only about a half hour baptism, so we'd be home by 1pm.

Now that it is at 3...what should I serve food wise? We'll be at our house by 3:30pm. Are sandwiches, a salad, chips/dip and a baptism cake too much for not lunch time/not quite dinner time? If it matter...There will be about 25 of us.

What would you serve?

I think that menu is casual enough it's fine. If people are traveling, they will probably arrive hungry.

I think that's good. Then people can decide how much they want to eat based on now hungry they are.

DH thought maybe we should just do snacks/desserts...but I don't think that is enough. I'm glad to hear other opinions!

Chicken salad on mini croissants (Costco) are always my go to for this sort of situation. Annies-Eats has several seriously fabulous chicken salad recipes.
