Adoption

Thanks for being so great!

Just wanted to take a second to say thanks to you all for being so kind and non-judgemental on here. I sometimes use my birth month board to know what to expect and ease my fears on things that seem strange. But other boards on here are SO mean to each other. I feel like it's high school again and everyone loves the mean girls. So thank you for not being mean girls :-)

Also- my next U/S is this Wed to see if the placenta previa has resolved. I am really hoping it has so that restrictions can be lifted and I can plan on a natural delivery. I'm also super excited because the adoptive Mom will be there to see baby girl for the first time and my office will record it for her to take to baby girl's future Dad!
Birthmom to A, 1/8- the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

  • @JaxxM could you share those? Our son's birth parent is looking for supportive places and although our agency had promised support they aren't being super supportive in ways that she finds helpful. I'd love to be able to point her to some resources.

  • Glad you feel welcome here! Also best wishes and prayers that the placenta previa resolves itself.

I hear you on the BM boards. I posted quite frequently on one of mine and it was some crazy stuff sometimes...

    Started TTC July 2012. Missed m/c & d&c 9/12 11w. Natural m/c 1/13 6w. Chemical pgs 3/13 & 8/13 around 4w. Currently TTA while saving for adoption.

  • @JaxxM thanks, I'll pass those along.

  • Thanks for posting on here!  I follow your progress and love hearing your story.  I also find this board extremely welcoming and non-dramatic.  I LOVE it!  Since I have never been preggo I have not been on the Birth Month boards so I don't know the drama much but I know that we have a wonderful group of ladies on here.  I hope your placenta issues clear and that the visit with your adoptive mom during the ultrasound goes well. <3
