Are we pregnant or in high school?

So maybe I'm the only one to have this thought but seriously... between the explosion of acne, sudden awkward boob changes, and feeling like a frumpy oompa loompa, I feel like I'm a freaking prepubescent teen again! Sorry if this vent is out of place, I'm just feeling like I'm anything BUT a happy glowing pregnant mama-to-be like everyone seems to expect x_x. Please tell me I'm not alone in this!

I don't think I've ever been this covered in acne.. Even as a teen. Sigh. I welcome boobs... But man, the acne.. Ugh.

I have tons of acne on my back and a little on my face..one big one on my right temple..so gross

I didn't have acne as a teen but I have it now on my face and back. It's disgusting. I've been using sugar cane acid and that has helped a ton!

I feel so gross and uncomfortable and generally self conscious. It is like being a teen again!

Maybe I should know this, but sugar cane acid...? What is that?

I've been too exhausted to even want to brush my teeth before bed lately but now I guess I need to suck it up and take the time to actually wash my face too....

I completely agree! My face is more broken out now then it was when I was in high school! I thought 2nd trimester would bring the pregnancy glow and great hair I've heard so much about. Instead I've got a face full of acne and dandruff (which I've never had ever before!!)...

I didn't have the horrific teenage hormonal issues but I will admit (prepare for the TMI) that I have acne on my ass now. Ughhhh as for my face I really can't complain. I'd get a pimple here, a pimple there all spread apart by weeks but the ass acne is annoying

I agree to the max, and wearing a pad from SCH bleed doesn't make me feel anything less than just a 14 year old girl Going through puberty! Hate pads and this hormonal acne!

I read somewhere that the "pregnancy glow," is just your skin producing excess oil... so those of us who are already prone to oily skin/acne get to deal with more breakouts instead of a healthy "glow." Fun times :-P.

I feel for you, honestly, but I must say your post made me laugh out loud. Ass acne... :-j Hopefully it clears up soon! I use a homemade goat milk face soap that I buy locally - I believe it has tea tree oil and a few other supposed acne-cures in it. Wonder if it's approved for ass acne too? :-P

I am not getting any acne (knock on wood) but my hair is a geese pit! I could usually get away with washing it once a week and using a dry shampoo in the middle of the week. Now I have to wash it every other day!
With the nasty humidity and heat (it was 90 yesterday) it is horrid!!

I had terrible acne in my 20's actually!!! It has yet to reappear with this, just some small bumps. But, I'm as moody as a teenage girl and I want to have sex, but also don't want to have sex because I'm afraid it'll hurt. (OK, not afraid, it DID hurt last time. LOL) Plus, I think everyone is stupid. I'm actually quite amused with the return of teenage me. Finally, DH gets a blast from my past!
