So I've made it to the 37 week mark with a diagnosis of choleostasis.
Off to the hospital Wednesday to start induction.
Frantic weekend of getting things ready at the house. We thought we'd have a few more weeks at least.
I'm feeling: Nervous. Excited. Terrified (first time mom here) and I just can't wait to meet our little girl!
This site has been awesome for laughs and info, comraderie and venting. Thank you ladies. Any tips for things to expect
During induction for a first time pregnancy from those who have been through it?
Re: Induction this week!
I was induced because of high blood pressure the day before the due date, and my body wasn't ready. I had family in and out of the room, which helped pass the time...but it was also tiring. I walked as much as I could and bounced on a ball to help. I started around 5pm on a Thursday and ended up in a c-section on Friday close to midnight into Saturday.
Of course, everyone's different. I hope your induction is quicker and smooth. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. GL!
