Getting two infants out of their convertible carseats is kind of a challange. While I'm holding one baby on one hip trying to pull the other baby out of the carseat and onto my other hip, I managed to whack her head on the car door frame. this also is not the first time this has happened. Thank god for those helmets! They've saved my life more times that one haha
My mind was not working this weekend out and about I put DD in her car seat and drove away. For some reason I had to slam my breaks and her car seat flipped and she fell on to the floor. I forgot to buckle her in!!! my poor baby. I got the scare of my life. Horrible mom here!
I put DD in a laundry basket to contain her while I did stuff around the kitchen. She had toys to play with and I didn't have to worry about her falling over backward or rolling somewhere she shouldn't.

I walked away from DD (who was on the couch) for one second and left her with my 5 year old niece to go grab some water out the fridge. As soon as i turned around she fell on to the floor and bumped her head. Thankfully she is just fine but i screamed at my niece for"not watching her" like i had told her to. Then i felt bad cause i realized it was my fault for leaving DD with a 5 year old to begin with. Major mom fail!

I did this on my last day of maternity leave. I'd taken her out at the mall to BF and figured I'd buckle her back up later. DH and I got to DSW and I went to get the carseat out and realized what I'd done.
We've done it a few times with DS. We'll head out and be on the road and he'll go "mom, you forgot to buckle me up!" Thankfully now he can do it himself.
A day late, but I found out last weekend you're not supposed to shake breastmilk. WTF!!!
I bf'd DS until he was 8 months old and I've been bfing DD for almost 6. I had no freaking clue.
Huh? Says who? I shake it. When it's been refrigerated, the fat tends to separate out. How else do you mix it back in?
Kellymom. But my friends told me. It breaks down the healthy enzymes and such. You're supposed to swirl it...Not that I'm terribly worried. DS has always been off the charts so it didn't stunt his growth.
