step2 water table?

does anyone have this table for their DC?  I am considering buying it for DS for Christmas (I hate that his birthday and Christmas are so close... it makes buying toys for the summer, a little older age, etc. more difficult) and was wondering if anyone had any reviews of it?  Obviously DS is a little small to comprehend the water tower concept, but he loves to play in water and with boats... it'd be something for him to play with in the kitchen during the winter and outside once it's warmer.

    We got it for DD's 1st bday in May and used it all summer. It was the perfect size and she loved it. The boats were super flimsy, but I didn't care because I still thought it was a good deal. (They also sell a sink one with running water that is super cute.). Your DS might like the water tower - DD did, even though I had to pour the water for her. I'm not sure about having it inside. DD got water everywhere!

    Thanks :)  That makes me feel better knowing another 1 year old liked it.  My kitchen is tile and I have a plastic cover from painting he can use it on.  I hate that his birthday is so close to Christmas, otherwise it would have been a great thing to get for his birthday!!!

    DD got it for her 1st birthday and loved it too.  She still enjoys playing with it when we get it out.
