When should I fed my baby who is 10 weeks old more formular?

I am still feeding my son 4 oz and im not sure when i should up his milk
Does anyone know when Im supposed to change it to more?

  • Follow his lead. If he's drinking the bottle super fast and still trying to suck at it at the end or he cries at the end of a feeding, he might want more. There's no specific time at which you need to increase. All babies are different and grow at different rates.

    This exactly. My DS is 8 weeks and I tried a 6oz bottle up from a 4oz (the water/formula ratio allows for 2 oz at a time) but I only let him eat 5 oz and he was much happier and did not spit up. Look for cues and up it slowly.
  • I agree with the pp. Follow your LO's lead. DS is 10 weeks and can eat anywhere from 3oz to almost 6 oz at a time. It varies throughout the day, I look at it like I would myself. I'm not always hungry at the same time and sometimes I'm hungrier than others for whatever reason, same with DS.
