We usually do pork ribs, but I imagine it's the same. I put 1/2 a bottle of barbeque sauce on the bottom of the crock pot, then I put the ribs in there and then I put the second half of the bottle on top of the ribs. I leave it on low for 8 hours or however long I'm at work. It's super easy and they are really tender. In fact they fall off the bone when you go to pull them out. PS: the meat is also awesome for tacos
