Baby pressed up against something and it hurts

I have no idea if this has been covered...I'm sure somebody somewhere has posted something about it.

Little man it pressed up against something in my lower right abdomen. I know it's him because he kicked and there was a small moment of relief and then the pain again. Just hurts for me to move at all. Does anybody have any tips on how to handle this or maybe on how I can get him to shift a little?

Thanks Ladies!

  • I just push and poke my baby to see if s/he'll move. And jiggle my tummy, sit funny while putting pressure on one side...

  • I keep trying that..but it's not working. I think he's being stubborn. I'm about to lay down in my office and see if I can get him to slide over. LOL

  • Could you drink something really cold? Maybe he'll move around enough from that to kinda shift his position?

  • Try some pelvic tilts!

  • I can't really help but this exact thing happened to me yesterday. H and I were walking around a festival and all I wanted was for LO to get out of that "corner" of my belly. I hope you find some relief!

  • Or maybe put an ice pack on that side for a few mins so LO will swim away from the cold?
  • Thanks ladies...I was able to push little one out of the way, for a while. He is back now but it isn't as bad. I think I will try the ice pack thing when I get home if he has moved again. Seems like that would be a good idea.

  • Baby did that the other night. I usually just get on my hands and knees on the floor so that baby moves. It tends to help
  • This LO has decided that BH contractions are comfy for mommy, so is now positioned making it feel like a never-ending BH! Grrr....
