Neither? It sounds like Ryan to me so I said boy. But anytime I see Lin/Lyn/Lynn at the end I also think girl.

FYI- I like boy names for girls. I would totes name my girl Charlie, Ryan, Emmerson, etc.

our DD has a made-up name, so we're keeping the tradition the same for our boy. and conveniently, dd's name is a blend of a video game name (kirah) + my maiden name (lin)..so if this sounds like a video-game name...no big deal, lol.

omg, where the heck was this list 9 months ago?!

h has been convinced with the name rylin for several months now..and i think i'm giving in because my guess is that the baby is choosing to not come until we settle on a name.....

and FTR, being a jennifer of the early 80's, unique/made-up name all the way. having a common name blows.

@jennlin I'm not a fan of Rylin but I do like weird names. This kids name is Fox. I'm a Tiffany of the 80's so I understand where you are coming from with that.

hahahaha and fox is pretty awesome. i tell people about his name all the time! a friend of mine's maiden name is fox..and i kept fighting for her to use it as a middle name for her babes (she had bg twins last month), but she said it was too weird! i love it.

btw, the new name of the moment is ROMALIN.

*sigh..* yes....this is the feedback i'm getting now...but my hub says the star trek reference (romulan) is pronounced rom-mew-lan...they are not a good race of aliens..but the pronounciation is different enough, and the kids wouldn't know star trek well enough to make fun of him.

and he knows star trek better than i....so if he's okay with it..i suppose it's okay.

romalin would be pronounced ro-muh-lin.
