I want to vent about something but figured I'd disguise it as a public service post. Bitch away ladies!

    Here's mine:

    I work retail for a small independent company. I'm the store manager, so I get to deal with all the crazies.

    On Friday, one of my employees was helping a customer who asked if we would price match something for her, so she said we would. When the customer came up to the counter she showed me a receipt from another company that is no where near us, so I told her I had no problem doing the price match this time but we don't usually bc the other place is not considered a local competitor. That was it! I honestly didn't give a damn! But she grabs her receipt from me and says she will never shop here again and storms out muttering about my attitude! WTH?!? Both my employee and I were completely speechless!

    Then I find out this morning that she emailed our company to complain about me. (Luckily the owners know how crazy people can be so they aren't taking any action against me, but still, WTH?)

    In summation, I hate people and cannot wait until I no longer have to work retail.
