  Agree with Strider Balance Bike. It is fantastic and only 6 pounds. Some of those training wheel bikes are over 30 lbs. After having the Strider for 6 months, I can confidently say that it is much loved here and my son will never need training wheels.

  We also love the Strider balance bike! DD also has a Kettler trike, which she loves as well.
