For those of you that have been told by your doctor that they wont let you go past X amount of weeks did you count your half way point with X divided by 2 or did you still go by the 20 week mark?
My dr would let me go to 38 weeks so at 19 weeks I considered myself half way through my pregnancy. At 20 weeks I considered the babies half way to full term (I consider 40 weeks full term)
My OB told me I was past the halfway point at my 20w appt. I guess I considered myself half-way there at 18ish weeks. I've not carried a single baby past 37w, so I am just assuming I won't carry this one past 37w either.

WSS - I'm 20 weeks today, halfway through term but I'll be delivering at 38 weeks so "halfway" of being pregnant was last week.
Mono/Di Twins - Due March 3, 2014 (Realist EDD - Feb 5, 2014)
I considered 19 weeks the halfway point since my doc said 38 week cs. Though at my last u/s he said he likes what he is seeing and as of now will let me go to 39 weeks. I am currently 25 1/2 so this could change, or they could come on their own
I said 20 weeks but the doctor said they won't let me go past 38 weeks.
TTC since May 2010. DX Unexplained IF. IUI #1 in August 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #2 in September 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #3 in October 2012. BFN. IVF in April/May 2013. BFP with b/g twins! Due February 2, 2014. Thank you God!
I counted 20 weeks as my halfway mark although like everyone else my doc isn't letting me go past 38 weeks. Now my doc is saying we will probably schedule a c-section for anytime between 35-37 weeks due to a previa.
I was just thinking about this topic last night... mainly because I want to be past that point and on the downward slide towards being done with pregnancy! ~laugh~ Honestly, for my sanity, I was going to consider it sooner rather than later, although my OB hasn't given me a "not past this point" idea. With the heavy bleeding that convinced them all there was no way in heaven or hell that these twins were going to make it (~sticks tongue out at doctors for being so negative.. and wrong~), I tried to talk about l&d at the last appointment and she seemed to want to keep me focused on the present
I'm going with 20 weeks myself. I've had the same thoughts over the last couple of weeks but decided if the first "half" was longer the second would go by faster. Not sound logic but these are the mind games I play with myself all the time . I mentioned to DH that we're getting to this point and I think it freaked him out a little bit. Time is already flying for him!
