Heartbreaking news report

I find it particularly difficult to hear tragic news. Friday night, a 41 year old mother, her 7 year old and her twin 2 year old toddlers died in a house fire a few blocks from me. The father was at work at the time and the house was completely destroyed. I didn't know this family but I well up every time I think about it or try to read through a news report.

Hug your little ones extra tight today. Life is so precious and so fragile. I am grateful every moment my daughter is healthy and happy, and am especially thankful Fifi is being extra snugly today. I'm savoring every moment.

    So sad.
    My daycare went to a funeral last week to a little girl they used to watch, but the moved out of state a couple months ago. The new daycare provider put her down at noon for her nap like every day, and she never woke up... she was just older than our LOs
