Walking... eeeh, no thanks.

Am I the only momma who is loving that their LO is still crawling and cruising around.  I feel like a lot of people are in a rush for their babies to start walking.  I am in no hurry.  Once they are up and moving, there is no stopping them and I am not ready for that. 

I know people get excited about milestones but what's the rush when if comes to walking? Just curious to get other's opinions.

BFP#1 -3/18/12- M/C 3/31/12,
BFP#2 -4/25/12, Beta#1 17dpo= 800, Beta#2 20dpo= 3800, Ethan James born 1-5-13

BFP#3- February 2015- natural miscarriage

BFP#4- June 2015- Ruptured ectopic, severe hemorrhage and loss of left tube on 7/10/2015

    We're not even crawling yet and I'm ok with that. She stays where I put her if I need to walk out of the room.

    There is no stopping DD already, I don't really want her to walk but she's close and it would make her Halloween costume cuter.

    I know DS will do things when he is ready regardless when I'm ready. I honestly don't mind that he just steps around furniture and hasn't taken the big leap yet. It will be exciting when he does but he really won't feel like my little baby anymore. ....sniffle, sniffle....

    I wasn't ready but apparently my DD was. I just go with it.  Nothing you can do about it

    I think we may be walking within a month and I'm not ready. Oh well ready, set, walk baby walk :(

    I feel like it's a lifetime ahead of him needing me less and less...I know that's not really true, but sometimes he seems so independent, I start reminiscing about the "good old days" which is ridiculous, but what can I say. Totally not ready for walking!

    I'm not ready for her to walk and know it'll be awhile. But it'll happen when it happens, can't prevent it. It is sad that they're growing so fast.

    I am not ready. I am missing my little baby. But I am not worried because every time I stand her up, she sits down. She is really happy with just crawling around for now.

    Mine will be walking inside a month.. He has taken a couple steps and stands on his own a lot. I am SO not ready, but what can you do? Sigh..

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    My first didn't walk until 14 months which was just fine with me. I wasn't ready for all the baby proofing and the mess they can get themselves into. This little one? Looks like this little one will be walking within the next month easily. Nooooo! I'd be much happier if she took more time.
