I'm going to call again tomorrow. He wasn't much help. Only said to use the thermometer trick. But we did and he went then and there but still hasn't since.
We've rubbed his belly, fine bicycle legs and tried giving him a mixture (1/2 and 1/2) of the similac for spit up and the sensitive to see if it would help. And nothing. My mom keeps insisting on me giving him karo syrup and water.
He pooped last Friday on his own last. He is def uncomfortable and when we did do the thermometer trick (on Thursday) it was clay-like and he cried while pushing it out after the thermometer started it. I feel so bad for my poor baby
Jack has reflux bad, and we have him on Enfamil Premium Infant. His pedi recommended some rice cereal or oatmeal because of his weight and height, but DH and I aren't ready for that. Does it seem to bother him? We used Enfamil AR, and it definitely helped him keep his food down.
As for the constipation, we use Karo only if it's bad, which it rarely is. Otherwise, taking his temp or bicycling his legs works.
Re: Reflux
Is he uncomfortable or it's just been a while since he's pooped? Some babies can go a week between poops.
We give DS a warm bath and a belly massage to help with constipation.
