I love shopping and always dress her in stylish clothes (skinny jeans, peter pan collar). She gets dirty but we don't go out after we pick her up from daycare so if I want her to wear all of her clothes it has to be worn during the week.
"I will show you the kind of big sister I will be..."
I bought a couple pairs of pants from target for $4 each and shirts I got for super cheap and hand me downs bc he gets super dirty at DC, he's at an in home and is always playing hard
Oh and dark socks and a hand me down pair of shoes.
Whatever clothes she has. We don't have a ton of super dressy clothes. She gets super messy at daycare. I save my real cute outfits for the weekends. It is mostly leggings and t-shirts for us.
All of her clothes are available to wear to DC. She is at a small in home, but I still dress in her whatever. Some days she is in a cute dress and sweater, other days she is in jeans or leggings and a top/onesie. I don't buy clothes for her to not wear them.

Mostly play clothes.... Cotton pants, simple tshirt or onsie. I have a house full of boys so our wardrobe is mostly uber casual with some church and holiday clothes thrown in.
Like you OP, I love dressing her in cute clothes and don't mind that they get a bit dirty. It's rare for her to wear dresses and I save some outfits for specific events, but otherwise anything is fair game.
I am likely in the minority here. My daughter had one pair of shorts this summer. Everything else is/was dresses and bloomies for daycare. She will wear pants this winter when it gets cooler out because at her new daycare they go out to play. But I have no jeans yet, just coordinating outfits. #mommysgirlygirl
Whatever is clean! He wears sweats, jeans, t-shirts. I won't send him in PJ's unless he's going to my in-laws because my MIL picks him up early. When he goes there, then I'm more careful because he's almost always playing on the farm with his dad so I know he'll get way more dirty.
The other day she wore a white t with silver bows, peach and brown pants, pink and white socks, blue and green shoes, an orange sweatshirt, and a cream bow to keep her hair back.
That day was a dad-special, but it kinda sums up what she goes in. Whatever's comfy for playing with the rat pack.
I would call it "comfy play clothes." Most of the time it's leggings and a cotton top/t-shirt of some sort. In the summer she went in one piece rompers a lot, and a sundress occasionally.
She always has a backup outfit in her bag, so depending on what she's spilled on herself that day she's wearing some pretty interesting combinations by the time I pick her up.
DS isn't in daycare but since it is getting cold out he often wears PJs when we go out. Who doesn't love a baby in dinosaur pajamas?
DD (2 yrs) goes to "morning school" twice a week and I don't send her in her nice clothes because she will get paint/marker/juice all over them. She usually wears jeans or soft pants and a plain top.
*I will send in her her nice clothes for picture day and she got dressed up for the first day of school.
We do a mix of nice outfits and play clothes. I don't usually send her in dresses because they get in the way when she's playing and I don't send her in anything that will be difficult for me to get stains out of or that I would be really upset if it got ruined.
Between art projects and the fact that I don't think he wears a bib for snacks, I am careful about what I send him in.
90% of his clothes are "play clothes." His dressier clothes we wear on the weekends, though sometimes I send him in nicer clothes just because I love them. But he just got a white sweatshirt for his birthday w/ his name on it. I won't send him to daycare in it because there is no way it would make it home w/out something ruining it.
9 times out of 10 whatever they do at daycare comes out of his clothes (paint, food etc.). But sometimes it doesn't, so I don't like to take the chance w/ my favorite outfits.
This summer he was mostly in cotton rompers from Carters. He doesn't maneuver well in jeans, so I will most likely be sending him to DC in "soft pants" this fall/winter. I don't send him in anything that I don't want to get ruined, so i save those clothes for the weekend.
DD wears all her clothes to daycare, except dresses. She doesn't have much "dressy" stuff, but what she does have, I save for if we are going somewhere special. I figure I may as well send her in all her stuff, otherwise she wouldn't wear 3/4 of the clothes she has. She doesn't wear shoes in her room yet, so I send her in just socks. Oxy Clean spray is my best friend She comes home with sleeves covered in blueberry, strawberry, etc. juice daily. Daycare isn't the best about bibs, no matter how often I ask.
99% of the time I send him in casual clothes. Sweatpants and shirts. I learned my lesson after I sent him in a nice pair of Gap cargos that got stained that daycare wasn't meant to be a fashion contest (at least not where we go). I won't do that again. For a boy, he has a ton of clothes. I make sure he looks nice on the weekends (jeans/cords...etc).

This. Today he's wearing jeans and a GAP sweater, but tomorrow he may be in Carters soft pants and a onesie.
DD stay at home with my aunt. The boys went to a daycare center I would buy cheap target/kohls type clothes and send them in those. They'd wear out quickly, but I didn't care because they were so cheap. They would wee nicer clothes in the evenings or weekends.
Like you OP, I love dressing her in cute clothes and don't mind that they get a bit dirty. It's rare for her to wear dresses and I save some outfits for specific events, but otherwise anything is fair game.
This. I dress her pretty much how I would dress myself for work every day. So far, she doesn't seem to get too messy/dirty at daycare.
My mom watches DS regularly but the 2 weeks he went to an in-home daycare while my parents were away he went in PJ's every time then I brought regular clothes. I buy stuff for him to wear, so whatever looks good that day goes with! Anything from jeans to cotton pants!
Guess I'm in the minority that I have daycare clothes and home or going out clothes. Pretty much everything I send her to daycare in comes back stained sooo yeah not sending her in my favorite outfits.
She used to wear baby legs and a onesie everyday but she started pulling them down flashdance style and couldn't get any traction when she stood up. So now she wears pants and jeans, leggings or jeggings a top and shoes that pull it all together. Were big fans of Old Navy's "Jersey pants."

For us too. He grows out of clothes too quickly not to wear them at daycare, so everything is fair game.
I dont send her in wearing PJs anymore, when she was little, sometimes I would. Now she wears regular clothes, sometimes nice, sometimes play, a good mix.
Same here. The only exception is we have couple of much nicer outfits (usually gifts from grandparents) that I save for weekends, church, etc. so they're not dirty and ratty looking.
