I could fill my dr brown 4 oz bottle to 5 oz just fine, then when we moved up to 6 oz, we switched to the 8oz one. I agree that the 8 oz bottle seemed huge at first, especially as I use the glass version with a silicone sleeve.
I think there is a stainless steel bottle called pura that works with dr brown nipples. I think they have 5 and 9 oz bottles.
am assuming you are using the standard size nipple (circuference & ring matches that of the Medela pump pieces) if so, go with Medela?
i tried the one that came with my pump she doesnt latch on well to it...
What I was trying to suggest you try (although wasn't very clear), is to put the Dr Brown nipple and ring collar onto the Medela bottle. Or put the Dr Brown nipple into the Medela ring and bottle. IF it works as I am picturing in my brain, would be cost effective.
