What type of CD for Daycare

Our daycare will use CD's, so now I'm wondering what type you have found to be the most user friendly for your daycare. I have Happy Heiny's and BG's but I am thinking about getting a few more. TIA

Re: What type of CD for Daycare

  • I think we're going with the BG 2.0s or ready-to-go 3.0.  I figure whatever is most like a disposable will be easiest for them (and therefore more likely that they'll actually do it).

  • I haven't found a daycare yet, but I'm thinking an AIO or prestuffed Pocket would be best for someone unfamiliar with using cloth.

  • We send HH and BGs to daycare and they like those.  I would say either pockets or AIO's with velcro rather than snaps would be great.  Anything to make it easy for them.

agree with everyone else. we send bg3.0s and bgAIOs to daycare. occasionally i've sent him in a fuzzibunz but i haven't sent them any snap diapers to use. like the other posters said, whatever is most like disposables...

incidentally--my daycare wraps each used wipe INDIVIDUALLY in a plastic bag before putting it in my wetbag. they don't do this for the diapers, just the wipes. what gives??? (i don't want to mention it, don't want to stir the pot, i'm grateful they're willing to use cd. but i find it odd!)

Yeah, why wouldn't they just wrap them in the diaper at least?

We send BG pockets or HPs.  She doesn't really like the HPs with snaps, so I only send velcro now.

  • Agree with pp's - any velcro diaper, pocket that is ready to use or AIO. I mostly send BGs (one size), but I have also sent Kushies AIOs. I don't send the Kushies right now because she's outgrown the smaller size and not quite grown into the larger size (for the record, I don't love these diapers and hated them with BF-poo, but for expanding your daycare diapers cheaply they are great.

How weird! But I've never found a place that would do cloth wipes and I'm on my 2nd CDing daycare. Heck, if they're going to wrap each in plastic it might be more EF to use disposable ones.
