Personalized Christmas Stockings

If you got them recently, where did you order yours from?

I can't put my finger on exactly what I want. I don't like any of the PB ones. I mean, they're all beautiful, but just not what I want. I already scoured Etsy.

I was leaning towards these, but I wonder if all the stripes make them too busy? I would do all horizontal stripes.

And I hate that I'm thinking of spending $100 on stockings, but I want ones that will last. I still have mine from when I was a kid and hung it up until this year - now I want to get a family set. And they have 25% off right now.

uglasofa.com just posted on facebook today about having some stockings (I'm guessing they're last year's PB stockings). I would check out their site to see if they have anything that you're interested in.

My aunt had a dog named Bradley for close to 15 years and I can only think thats as dog stocking.

I LOVE THOSE! I want to get personalized stockings so badly for our family but I'm nervous that they won't have the same styles and fonts for future children so I would have to get new ones. All stockings on my mantel MUST coordinate.

We have the classic red and ivory ones from Pottery Barn, the regular sized ones for us and I just bought the small ones for the dogs because they are on sale right now. I love the classic look and they they always have that style so I do not have to worry about future kids not having the same one (like PP they must match). OP- I really like the first stripped ones you posted, they are still classic but with a little extra spunk. I also like that you could get each family member a different one (depending on how many people you are buying for) and they still all coordinate. I also like the PB ones that ElleBee just posted (specifically the snow flake ones).

AKB090609 - This is my fear. I am tempted to buy more than we need and just get future LOs personalized when the time comes. But now that I write that out, it sounds a bit crazy to me.

Also convincing DH that we need to spend ~$40/stocking is hard enough without having to convince him we need to buy more than we "need".

I need 4: me, DH, DD and my stepson. I was going to do all 4 with the horizontal stripes, but the green for the boys and red for me and DD.

I have seriously considered buying a set and getting them for future children as well. Then my overthinking starts: "what if we have x kids and then there is an oops baby and no stocking for him/her"

I general Personal Creations has the same stuff each year, like PB.
and they always have promo codes.
Quality v price? PB is far superior. Personal Creations stuff is fine but it's a lttle... cheapier.

we have ones similar in style to these - https://www.landsend.com/products/needlepoint-christmas-stocking/id_27370 .

my parents bought one for me and DH after we got married, and then ordered another one in a different style for DS for christmas. mine has an angel (not that one), DH is a bear (also not in there) and DS is the train one in the link. They are all a little different, but are all coordinated in that they are done in similar styles, and the names in the font is just about the same.

DH's parents got another stocking just like those with snowmen on them, with no name on it. Since DS's has his name, we will have that one embroidered with LO #2's name on it when the time comes.

My mom actually got them for us and she got them at Land's end. I have the link down below. We have a nutcracker, a bear, and an angel and we will get one for the new LO too.
