yogurt help?

Ok so maybe you ladies could help me. I am planning on giving DD yogurt as its very good for them. My question is where are you guys finding full fat Greek yogurt. I have looked at 2 stores and the best I can find is 2 percent. I'm confused because I don't eat yogurt. How much is your lo eating? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: yogurt help?

  • Her favorite is Plum Organics Raspberry, Spinach and Greek Yogurt.

Just wanted to chime in and say we just gave this to DS for the first time and he looooved it. And this is a kid who's hard to impress.

  • I also get the plain Stonyfield. The last container of Dannon Greek I looked at didn't have any active cultures which I think are important. At this point, DD eats at least 1/2 cup of yogurt a day.
  • Thanks ladies last night I picked up some yobaby blueberry and she liked that. My hunt continues, so far she is not a picky eater which I'm thankful for. Although if I let this child eat all the solids she wants we could be in the highchair a while lol. Little petite thing loves to eat :)

  • I buy a large tub of full fat plain Balkan yogurt. It's not quite as thick as Greek and way cheaper. It doesn't have the huge protein benefit though. My little guy has been eating it since just over 6 months. He now gets up to 2 tbsp once a day. Sometimes I add a touch of fruit sometimes it's plain. He loves it either way. When I buy Greek I usually get 2% as anything higher is hard to find.

  • they don't need greek yogurt.
just try and find plain full fat regular yogurt with no sugar or anything else.

i use 'balkan' style which is 6% i believe and it's SO much cheaper than greek!
