Yep. I told myself I'd never have short hair again but I actually like it this time, and it was necessary. My hair was damaged pretty badly by the bleaching and dyeing-red I did about a year and a half or two years ago. Then I had DS and it was BAD. Bad-bad. As in, I couldn't brush it and it became matted bad. I cried every time I tried to brush it kind of bad. So terrible that even after a deep conditioning
and detangling spray the stylist who chopped it off had to hack at it with the comb for almost 20 minutes, and let me just say that it was extremely painful. (She couldn't just chop off the matted bit because she had to be able to cut my hair evenly.) And then, as it dried, it somehow magically began to tangle again without ever being touched or moved.
I don't have a great picture of how long it was before, but it was down to the middle of my back when straightened before I cut it:

And this is how it looks now:

I kind of love it. I can do all kinds of shit with it now. What do you guys think?
Re: I cut all my hair off.
I figured I'd better make the most of having short hair, as I had no choice but to cut it unless I wanted one big, giant dreadlock on my head. I like to put it in jaunty styles that girls with long hair can't do!
// I love you too. //
I always feel, this time it will be cute short. NOPE!
Seeing your hair makes me want to chop away.
