DS has never slept in bed with anything. Just a crib sheet and appropriately warm jammmies. Now that the winter months are coming, and the risk for SIDS is drastically lower than it was, is anyone planning on putting a blanket in with LO? I don't mean as a lovey, although if that's what it becomes I can't stop that, but as legit bedding. For the STMs+, when did you put your LO to bed with a more complete bedding ensemble? And how did LO do with it if it was the first time s/he had ever had one in there with them? I sort of don't care either way, but DH is curious.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

I'm planning on using sleep sacks for DD2 for a while yet. 1) we have them, so why not use them, and 2) then I don't have to worry about increasing SIDS risk or her turning herself out from under them and getting cold.
