Going BSC! I am officially 6 hrs from hitting 37 weeks and tomorrow I am walking my legs off at Ikea.
At my appointment on Wednesday I was 6cm, 100% effaced, baby's at 0 station and contractions were every 8 minutes. I've been "in labor" for ten days now and it's getting old.
Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.
3.0 and I are hanging in. They hooked me up to the monitors for 3 hours last night to get a better look at my contractions. I'm still having more than my OB would like and my cervix remains soft, but closed. I'm allowed off bed rest with major restrictions about activity for now. I have to go in for weekly cervix checks and if it starts to shorten again, I'm back on bed rest. 3.0 and I have had a long talk, and he understands he needs to stay put for another 2 months at least.
Baby boy H is here! Born 2/1/2014

How are you and Eleanor doing? How's your recovery going? I've been thinking about you and hoping you are doing okay.
It's getting a lot better. I still have pain in my lower right stomach/side area and sometimes it makes me feel like I tore my incision open. It happens sometimes when I get out of bed or stand up, but goes away after 5-10 seconds. Other than that the pain is alright. I pretty much wear the belly binder thing 24/7 and do my best to take my pain mess as often as possible.
Nursing is getting easier. We have some latch issues (my nipples are flatter) so sometimes have to use a shield to get her to latch but it really does help.
She had a checkup Friday and was at 40% for weight and 60% for height so she's just an average baby. She was down almost a pound so I'm bringing her back this afternoon (Monday) for a weight. check.
She always has her legs all folded up and it's adorable but makes diaper changes tough.
H is fantastic with her, and I love the little bond they already have. Daddy's girl for sure
It's crazy to me to look at her still and think she's really mine, but I'm loving being a mom.

I'm glad things are stalling. Good luck
