Watson decided to eat a giant chunk of dark chocolate cookie dough that DH left on the counter.

He's currently at the e-vet being fawned over by the techs and being watched overnight. Thank goodness for pet insurance.

Good luck with the kid! My two puppies decided once to eat a whole bag of dark chocolate truffles. Each. Needless to say we haven't left ANYTHING on the counters since, and it was not fun.

Hope he is ok! My pup could open the fridge at my old place and not once but twice got her paws on chocolate and once guacamole. They always go for the dangerous stuff! Hydrogen peroxide has been my friend.

Ugh we had that happen on Christmas one year with our pug, he ate a 1lb bag of dark chocolate. Hope your pup is good now.

Oh no!! Glad you got him to the vet. I am a vet tech and have seen some dogs get pretty sick from eating chocolate. It depends on how much, what kind, and how big the dog is too. Hope he gets better soon.

Awesome pet insurance. What kind do you have? I have 3 of mine on Trupanion.
