We've had DD off whole milk for 4 mo because she was getting diahrrea. Pedi suggested soy milk at her 18 mo because yogurt and cheese doesn't have the right fat content. I am giving her regular Silk brand, but she's not into it. Anyone use the vanilla with good results? Is the vanilla ok for kids?

I second goats milk.. don't use it myself but growing up I had a friend who had goats and used to give her daughter goats milk.. its a very healthy alternative for people who can't handle moo juice

Thanks, ladies! Found some goat milk at the store yesterday.

@excited30 We were using the regular. I did double check and it is definitely not the unsweetened.

@eyenigh Is the Stonyfield Farms Yobaby the yogurt you use?

No, I make my own and it is INCREDIBLY easy-- and that's saying a lot because I am both super busy and super lazy. I bought a yogurt maker for like $35 and it's been amazing. Worth every penny. You literally boil milk, mix it with any type of starter yogurt or yogurt starter, pour it into the glass jars and let it go overnight. In the morning, you've got yogurt. Alexander used to be such a picky and light eater, I wanted to get more calories in him but he wanted more yogurt than those tiny baby cups so this worked out way better. If you're interested, I can dig up all the model info.
