  That is awesome!! I really wanted to be team green, and I am a planner - totally weird, right? My husband really wanted to know as early as possible so we can refer to our baby by name.   Yay! We are team green too. DH was more on board than me. I'm getting used to the idea now. Sooo excited!!

  I figure we'll come up with a good nickname that could work for boy or girl down the road as our name until April.

  I feel like they have to want it to because otherwise I would be worried they would be mad/disappointed/resentful to not find out. I knew I couldn't force MH to be Team Green, but I'm glad he came around and decided on his own. FX YH can change his mind too!!

  Yay!! You will love it! I suggest giving baby a fun nickname. It helps with bonding IMO and s just fun! My son was called Petrie while I was pregnant and I let him name this baby for now so we have baby noodle nelson

  I am a "planner" too, but am happily team green. For me, I can't really think of what more I would be able to plan if we knew boy/girl anyway. I would not be painting the room anything other than neutral, and I would be registering for all gender neutral items anyway (we are hoping to have more). DH and I are super excited for our big reveal on the birthday!

  Just because you don't want to know doesn't mean you're not a planner! There is soooooo much baby stuff to plan! Imo the sex of the baby adds nothing to the planning except you only have to choose one name. So glad you got what you wanted! Tell DH to plan his/her college fund, if he needs something to plan.

  MH has decided he's planning everything and saving for everything already. Our entire wedding was about him, I wanted a town hall quickie, he wanted the big wedding. I missed the memo that weddings are all about the groom? He's insane and I am more than happy to sit back and relax while he stressed about which infant car seat and crib we need I am the worst, if it weren't for DH and my BFF I will be standing in BRU overwhelmed and looking around clueless. I'm much more of a go with the flow girl. You can plan and prepare all you want, but everything can go out the window the second baby is here. Who knows what skin irritations their baby will have or what nipples they'll prefer for bottles, etc.

  We are team green but our 3 year old son has come up with the nickname dragon. Well he believes it's going to be the baby's name, but I think we might go another way..... Lol

  That is so great!  That is currently the debate in our household right now.  My husband wants to know and I am trying everything to convince him to wait.  Some of my friends have said that he could know and keep the secret, but I do not think that is going to be possible since the day that we found out that we were going to have a baby he called his dad right away, so that is a big no in my book.  Fingers crossed that I can get him to come to the green side!

  We decided to find out but aren't going to share it with family and friends.  We live 500 miles away from family and friends so it'll be easy for us to buy some gender specific stuff without anyone seeing it.  I still want to be able to make the big announcement after the baby is born.
