My friend is getting a boob punch...

I made the mistake of posting on fb that I was trying to get comfy, watching HIMYM, and preparing for the waiting game.  Ie leave me alone.  Her response, "At least you don't have to wait 3 months like me.
 
I am frustrated because I have been trying to be helpful with suggestions, like her back hurts.  Try a heating pad, but because she needs constant attention, there is something always new  that's wrong with her.  And then she gets pissed cause she goes to the ER and they tel her nothing is wrong other than being pregnant.  I haven't even told her about my pregnancy arthritis,  pointless contractions, let alone my fear that not only will I have to be induced, but it will be a long labor  if it is even successful.  She is all like, Oh my baby is going to be big, I should just have a c-section.


Thanks.  I woke up to pee.  Now it will be another hour before I can go back to sleep.

    Like I said, I love her.  Now is just not the time to complain about non-urgent pregnancy stuff.  And I am sorry she is in the middle of 3 of us being pregnant so some of the show light may be off of her, but I do try to pay attention to her as much as I can. Just can't handle it right now when I'm going through a lot of emotions knowing I may not even come close to the birth that I wanted.  So I am checking off of fb other than a few friends who already have their kids and were in a similar situation, staying in my pjs, and playing with my Cricut.

    Sounds like the kind of "friend" you just avoid all pg related convos with. I've had a couple of those before.

    What a butt

    I get that she's a close friend and you're not trying to bash her or anything..but she's still a self-centered, attention seeking butt. I would respond with something snarky so that she gets that I'm not playing that game with her right now.

    Some ppl with this flaw can have redeeming qualities that make their disease of having their own head logged up their ass bearable..but they have to be put in check when they go too far.

    Anyway...I'm sorry that you are in pain and may not have the choice to have the kind of birth you wanted and that a friend of yours is not being very supportive right now. I wish you the very best and hope your friend can pull her head out of her ass and be there for you when you need her.
