    DS has his 2 month shots today:( I hoped to give him Tylenol to help him with the pain but the Dr advised against it. I'm glad I scheduled the appointment at the start of my days off, the poor little guy doesn't want me to put him down.


    I'm afraid of scorpions, spiders and snakes. I can't even look at pictures or see them on tv without getting the chills.

    @amandrins sorry shots were rough. We had ours on Tuesday and today she finally wasn't so off. It will get better.

    Super creeped out by the idea of ghosts. Also terrified of those metal grates used on sidewalks to cover holes. Won't walk on them. In 3rd grade one of my friends fell through one and I have been terrified of them ever since.

    I hate the dark.. Yes I know, what am I, 12? Apparently. I've always hated the dark, it's freaks the living crap out of me. Scary movies have ruined it all. I'm a very paranoid person when I'm alone and darkness makes it worse. It also doesn't help that our house is right next to a cemetery.

    I'm also afraid of sharks and deathly scared if open water. Lake, river, ocean... I can't do it. I tried to go swimming off a boat one summer and I will not be attempting that again.

    DD just went almost 7 hours since last feeding....wooooooot!!!!.


    Ugh spiders. Although I'm putting my big girl pants on more often now, but they're still the worst. My least favorite part of MOTN feeds...who's creeping around? Eek!

    Just put LO down a few minutes ago and I may have just finished my 2nd glass of wine...

    Qotd: I saw this original image when it first showed up on the internet 10 years ago and it scared the hell out of me. I still feel itchy when I see it, even knowing its fake.     Stayed up way too late for no good reason. LO went down a little after 10, I got in bed around 1, LO woke up at 2. So much for those 7 hour stretches we were getting. It was nice while it lasted.

    I HATE scary movies (especially the ones with super creepy kids) and haunted houses. I also refuse to look out a window when it's dark outside.

    @chattychiqa It can lessen the effectiveness of the vaccine if given beforehand. It was that practice, in part, that caused the whooping cough epidemic in my neck of the woods a few years ago that actually killed a number of infants.

    LO slept from 8-1am...and gas been awake. Ever. Since. (EST) please go back to sleep, it is not playtime and mommy is exhausted.

    I'm terrified of clowns. I can handle happy or circus type clowns, ones generally seen in public are ok. But if they have even a hint if evil or mischievous to them I will freak the fuck out. My sister likes to text me pics of them randomly...I want to throat punch her.

    DS fought sleep for so long earlier that he had time for another feeding (you build up an appetite after fussing and screaming for over an hour and a half!). He's up now after about 6 1/2 hours.

    My upper back has been killing me. I'm getting a pedicure in the morning and may have to throw in a chair massage. My body still isn't used to carrying the little guy, and he's only getting bigger!!

    QOTN: I hate scary movies, too!! I'm afraid of ghosts and/or an intruder in my house. These motn feedings where I go down to the nursery w/LO creep me out! We leave lights on in the living room so it's not fully dark in the hallway.

    5:00am here. Baby is sound asleep, and has been since 8:00. Don't know why I'm up. I'm wide awake! Why does life work this way? Lol.

    I get scared easily. It's gotten to the point where I don't even watch scary movies...it's not fun for me. Don't know when I became such a wussie.

    Ugh, roaches!! I can handle other things like lizards, frogs, heck- even spiders. But if a roach is around you'll see me flailing my arms like a pansy as I find the highest point in the house to stand on. I've woken up DH from deep sleep to kill them before. Echhhh, I just can't!

    @chattychiqua what pp said. The dr explained it to me like this....getting the vaccine is supposed to create a mild inflammation in the body to teach it how to combat the virus, but if you take an anti-inflammatory then the shot doesn't get to do what it was intended and won't fully know how to fight the virus if LO comes in contact with it in the future.

    I could shoot DH. LO WIDE awake at 2 am, he asks if I want help and takes LO to try to put him to sleep. A few min later comes in the room and asks where the pacifier is. I see LO is chomping on his hamd so I tell him no, the baby is hungry. He wouldn't latch right away and DH says "oh yeah hes really hungry" and starts in on me not letting him be a parent. WTF dude?!?! How is you picking a fight being supportive in the motn??? So he storms off and is playing video games now. **I** fed LO and rocked him to sleep. Thanksfor the help jerk. Now past 4 am. Im wide freakin awake and pissed off.

    End rant. Oops long!! LO is sound asleep again.

    I am meeting friends this morning so I set my alarm to get up and shower. Timing wise DS should have been good until I was out so I could feed him while my hair dried. Yeah, the kid who is never bothered by DH's alarm all week got up with mine. But I don't want to pump so now I'm nursing and hoping he's quick about it. I should enjoy this bonding time, though. I'll be away from him for most of the day!
