4 month old awake time

How long does your/did your 4 month old stay awake between naps?  DS has been pretty consistent with an hour and 15 min to an hour and 20 min for the past month or so.  Then it seems like all of a sudden this week he hasn't been showing his tired cues until about 2 hours.  It seems like such a big jump but he hasn't been fussy during the extra time.  Any others see a big jump around the 4 month mark?  Should I try to get him back to shorter awake times?

    My LO will be 4 months tomorrow and he is up for about 2 hours and then ready for a nap. I usually start to get him ready to sleep after about 1 1/2 hours that way he doesn't get overly tired. I think if he is happy and not getting fussy then I wouldn't try to get him back to shorter awake times. He would let you know if he was ready for a nap sooner than that!
