Clothes that fit a tall & skinny boy?

I'm having troubles finding clothes that fit my tall and skinny LO. He is 2.5 years old, but waist wise, he needs 12 month range. So all his jeans look like flood pants. Any suggestions for brands that might have a small enough waist, but will be good for length?

    We stick with brands that have the adjustable waistband. Old Navy and Lands End, for example.

    I have a tall, skinny boy too.  It sucks trying to find pants or jeans that are long enough and that also fit in the waist.  My son wears the skinny jeans from ON.  Even those are a little baggy but they fit length-wise and have the adjustable waist.

    I also have a tall skinny 2yrold boy. Even gap and ON adjustable waists don't always work. I have had to go through trial and error with many different brands. Crew cuts has adjustable waists and functional drawstrings so those pants have been working. There is also a brand called city threads which is pricey but the pants fit him well.

    Ditto adjustable waist bands. They are the only pants we can buy for DS, he outgrows the length WAY before hitting the widest waste band setting.

    I find that walmarts brand of sweats and athletic pants fit small in the waist and are longer. DS cannot fit in any 2T pants at 2.5 except the ones I got at Walmart. Even the adjustable waist bands from gap and old navy are Generally still too big in the waist or too short. I feel your pain although DS is in 18-24 mos pants so he's not quite as skinny as your LO!

    I have a skinny girl. If the pants have belt loops you can use the Snapper Dapper. I bought it off of amazon. It just basically brings the pants in on the back. It is the only thing that works to keep my girl's pants up!
    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!
