We've gone through quite a few in the last month, as a long lasting cold has had DS going through diaper rashes on and off. We've had the best results with Desitin Rapid Relief. Clears it up almost within the hour of having it on. For a frame of reference as far as how many we could compare it to, we've used Bordeaux's Butt Paste, A&D ointment, regular strength Desitin, and Aquaphor.
Also try yogurt, it has something in it that helps with the side effects of antibiotics. My mom who is a nurse recommended it years ago and it has always worked for us. Just FYI works for adults too if you ever need it
A little late but have you tried baking soda? A generous sprinkle in the tub and then plopping LOs tush on it worked when literally every paste failed.
Re: diaper rash cream??
Try triple paste.

The Butt Paste in the red tube is the best for stubborn diaper rash.
