diaper rash cream??

We have our first ear infection and four days into the meds we have a nasty diaper rash. What is the best cream to get rid of it?

Re: diaper rash cream??

  • We've gone through quite a few in the last month, as a long lasting cold has had DS going through diaper rashes on and off. We've had the best results with Desitin Rapid Relief. Clears it up almost within the hour of having it on. For a frame of reference as far as how many we could compare it to, we've used Bordeaux's Butt Paste, A&D ointment, regular strength Desitin, and Aquaphor.

  • I really like the Burt's Bees diaper cream. It works really well and smells delicious.
  • Try triple paste.

Also try yogurt, it has something in it that helps with the side effects of antibiotics. My mom who is a nurse recommended it years ago and it has always worked for us. Just FYI works for adults too if you ever need it

  • Destin maximum strength is the best I have found and I have tried most of them out there. That one is my go to my title guy starts getting red.

  • The Butt Paste in the red tube is the best for stubborn diaper rash.

  • Is it yeast? In our experience with dd, diaper rash cream never helps. But for diaper rash ( and early stage YI) we use pinxav.
  • A little late but have you tried baking soda? A generous sprinkle in the tub and then plopping LOs tush on it worked when literally every paste failed.
