If you aren't getting an extra seat, you really wouldn't have room. They definitely wound let you block the aisles. This is the only product that came to mind, but it has pretty mixed reviews.
If you have a bluk row seat, they should have a baby bassinet thing that attaches to the wall that she can lay in. Call the airline and ask them if they have it. I wouldn't put her on the floor (could roll) but that should be helpful. When my daughter was that little, I would put her to sleep in the ergo and most flights were good. She should be fine. It was when she got older that things got more difficult.
Ehh- at 3 mos, my kids were GREAT travelers. Didn't get rough until they became mobile. Basically, I just wear them... Nursed during takeoff and then they slept the whole flight in the carrier. With that long of a flight, probably won't sleep the whole time but you will have others there to hold her so you can switch off. It won't be that bad!
Traveling with a 3 mo old is as easy as it gets. I few with DD at 4 months to Ireland and back - she did fine!
Just breastfeed or give her a bottle on takeoff and landing to help her ears. Beyond that the vibration of the plane will lull her to sleep. Oh, and make sure that YOU are relaxed! Her emotions feed off yours, so be the calm you want her to be and she'll likely be just fine.
The older they get, the more active they are and the harder parents have to work to entertain them and keep them happy. Enjoy this flight!
