Veronica has been usually good at falling asleep on her own. For seveal months we had a nice bed time routine - 8pm milk, bath, pj, story time, cuddle and 8:30 pm I put her to her crib, she takes a paci and I walk out of the room leaving her in the crib. Within few minutes she is happily asleep.
Recently we had dramatic changes to this happy process
All week she was crying and refusing to go to sleep. Yesterday it took me 2 and a half hours to put her to bed. She is howling and crying with tears when I put her to crib, so I can't just let her CIO, my heart breaks. The only change I can think of that would affect her is that I have started full time job recently and I think she misses me during the day an wants to hang out with me during the evening. But common kid you need to go to sleep at night...
What do you recommentd? Do you think it is a phase and she will go back to her happy go to bed routine or it is now my new reality?
