Canadian Thanksgiving

We have a big friends thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Ugh... All I can think about is basting that turkey every 30mins tomorrow. I guess Lily and I are going to learn BF on the move! Im going to be one tired mum!

Re: Canadian Thanksgiving

  • Have fun- be careful with LO and the oven! Baby wearing in the kitchen over the stove/oven makes me nervous personally, and I'm a chef.

    Now turkey sounds good! ;)

  • Too late now but there is an automatic turkey baster called the Geyser.

  • Automatic baster!? Now that is living the high life!

Yeah I won't be wearing little miss today... Im in charge of stuffing too. Why couldn't I be in charge of buns!
  • I'm making the cranberry sauce, stuffing, and scalloped potatoes this weekend. DH does the turkey. I let DH do the stuffing some years but he doesn't do it right, too few onions, no water chestnuts, weird spice combinations. This year is my turn :-).

  • Mmm I'm so excited! We get 2 dinners and because of my c-section my family won't let me help with dinner if I tried. Bring on the food!
As for losing the baby weight, there is always January. Haha.

  • We have three dinners... It's going to be busy! Bring on the gravy!
  • We're going to a wedding (ceremony only to preserve our sanity) then driving five hours to my parents house. I'm nervous about taking Auli in the car for so long! But mmmmboy I can't wait to taste some turkey!
