1st MFM appt Tuesday, what should I ask?!

I have my 1st appt with my MFM on Tuesday I'll be 11weeks they said the appointment will take up to 2 hrs with the scanning of all 3 babies. Just wondering if there are any important questions that I will need to ask! My MFM will not be delivering my baby but will be working with my OB. We have 2 identical (which we will find out what kind at appt) and 1 Fraternal.

    I would start with getting an idea of how frequent your appointments will be. It helps to get a plan in place to make it to them all and esp if you want your DH to be there.
    My OB transferred my ultrasounds over to the MFM, and that way we knew DH didn't have to worry about missing one if he didn't go with me to the OB appointments that basically became weight, blood pressurel, and doppler checks.
    And yes, those u/s's can be quite lengthy. Hopefully they will allow you to take a break and lie on your left side a bit if you get dizzy, because it can get very uncomfortable for you.

    Wow triplets! God love ya! I also have my first MFM appointment on Tuesday. I'm 18 weeks. So far I have a list of four questions.

    1) asking about getting dental work while pregnant.

    2) sleeping on my left side. Every time I do baby B freaks out.

    3) meds for constipation and

    4) how long to expect our girls to stay in the hospital after they're born as long as everything goes well.

    That's all I have so far. I'll come up with more. Good luck!

    Good luck at your appointment! My first MFM appointment was about the same time. My biggest questions were what were the roles of my OB vs. MFM, how often I'd be seen there, and how long we are hoping to carry the babies for. They went over the risks and complications of a triplet pregnancy and the results of our NT scan as well.

    Side note: I would love to have a triplet mom to be buddy like you mentioned in my intro post! I had paged you a couple days ago, but not sure if you caught it.

    First pregnancy - DS 01-Apr-09;
    3rd cycle Clomid/IUI after 2 years TTC
    TTC #2 since ~June 2010
    IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid/IUI - BFN
    IUI #3 &4 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFN
    IUI #5 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFP!!
    EDD: March 22, 2013
    It's triplets!!

    No I didn't get it!?! I'll message you so we can figure it out lol! Thanks for the help Ladies! I'm overwhelmed by it all we have the MFM on Tuesday and 1 st OB appt on Thursday( just released from my RE ) so it'll be a week of questions I'm sure.
