Have you ever heard of or used takeout taxi? Thinking of giving a gift card to a friend who is having surgery since I don't know what takeout places she likes and they seem to service a lot of places... https://finefood2u.deliverycheckout.com/

    It's been years since I've used them.  They add a dollar or more to the prices of all of the food items to make their money so it's expensive, but convenient if you really need delivery from somewhere that won't deliver to you.  If you're going to do a gift card from there and want to cover the cost of a meal (vs. just $25 or some other round number), bump it up at least $5.

    I'm in the DC area, but not Arlington, and have used Takeout Taxi. It's pretty expensive. The giftcard would be a really nice idea, but make sure it's for a good amount of money to cover the cost of a full meal plus delivery.
